About Me – Southport Chiropodist Podiatrist

Janet Morris BSc Pod Med, MChS

Janet Morris Southport Chiropodist

I qualified as a Podiatrist in 1994 from The Northern School of Chiropody at Salford University.  I then worked for a period with Chorley and South Ribble NHS, gaining valuable experience, before joining the Chiropody department in St Helens and Knowsley NHS. Here I was responsible for a range of duties within a community setting, including clinical work, domicilliary (home) visits, nail surgery, and the treatment and assessment of high risk patients.

I was pleased to join as an associate in a local private practice (Healthpoint) in 2004. As a lifelong resident of Southport it is good to work within my own local community. I really enjoy my work within private practice, there is much more time to listen to my clients individual needs, and work out the best way of helping.

I work part time at Healthpoint in Formby, and now can also provide home visits most days and some evenings within the Southport, Birkdale, Ainsdale and Formby areas.

I am committed to CPD (continuing professional development), and attend several courses each year. Recently I attended the Society of Chiropodists Annual Conference which I very much enjoyed.

I am registered on the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
